Clay Building Session

Visit the studio for up to a 2 hour clay hand-building session.

You are free to build whatever you wish within the session using your clay.  Session is made up of 1 hour 45min clay work and 15mins cleaning/tidying. 

This is not an instructed or guided session but our friendly staff will be in the studio to offer assistance where appropriate.   

Suitable for any age but under 8’s should have at least one adult 8+ at the table supervising (no requirement to pay to play with clay!)

Included in the session cost:  clay (up to 1kg each), use of our studio clay tools and, if required, bisque firing of 1 item per person in our kiln.   

Please note that no clay must be brought from out with the studio.  We can only fire clay  purchased from Maisie Gray Pottery & Crafts to ensure firing success, to protect our kiln and safety of our staff.   

Optional Extras:

• Additional Hour of studio time subject to availability:  £5.00 per hour per person
• 500g clay:  £5.00 per 500g
• Bisque firing of additional items:  £5 per item
